Hans Zimmer and Christopher Nolan in the making of 'The Dark Night'
During the process of making the 'The Dark Night' rises Hans Zimmer design the music for the film . He created a special track for the character of Joker who is evil . He wanted the audience to hate him therefore made the sound of the joker screechy and unpleasant which clearly reflected him furthermore he also wanted to make the soundtrack like a signature to joker even though if the audience heard a second of the soundtrack they would know it was the joker . To make it more tense he used 2 notes on the violin which never brake or stop as this keeps the tension growing.
