What went wrong?
One of the things that went wrong was the flying shot we done as it was too close so it didn’t have the effect we wanted it too have. Another thing that we could of done better and didn’t go well is that we didn’t fully watch the tutorials so we didn’t exactly know what we had to shoot. Furthermore with the basketball shot we could of made different angle of the shot and also the duration of it could have been longer.
What did we struggle in AE?
One of the things Caleb struggled with was the masking and the magnitude of the camera shake . Sharmin struggled with the cloud in the teleporting effect . On the other hand I had trouble working on the Mac as the layout of shortcuts is a little different .
What do we need to learn?
Most importantly we need to learn how to do all the effects independently and how to make them look awesome and realistic. Additionally we need to master colour correction and additional things that will affect the final product .
What assets do we need ?
One of the things that we will need are costumes as the Mis-en scene will be a vital part to make our sequence look good and professional. Sound and Music For the sequence the music will be varied so for example calm parts will have chill sound effects and a easy listening soundtrack in the background and tense parts will have heavier bass type music . We will also need to gain better stock footage to make the effects more realistic as for example in the test the stock footage didn't really make look real in the teleporting effect below .
