Working between Premiere and After Effects

Knowing how to work Premiere and After effects is very useful for the project we are doing as it will make the workflow much easier and faster .  One of the best ways and the easiest ways to do this is by using the Dynamic Link function . This is because it doesn't need the render function which takes up sometime . This is also good if you want an individual clip edited .

First step is to select the clip on the timeline you want and then right click or ctrl + click on it . This should make a option menu pop up and you want to go and click 'Replace with After Effects Composition'

Now you should be moved to After Effects and box should pop up where you can name the file you are going to be editing .

As you see now the clip is in after effects where you can edited as much as you like .

When you finished editing the clip click cmd + S to save the clip this now allow you to go back to Adobe Premiere with the edited clip .

Now as you see you have your edited clip back into Adobe Premiere without needing to render !

All you have to do now is render by going to File - Export - Media and choosing the format you want to render it in . I recommend Quick Time or H.264.
